چکیده
High-entropy alloys (HEAs) are based on solid solutions which characterized by chemical short-range ordering (CSRO), but there is no accurate structural tool to address CSRO characteristic, obstacles precise composition design for HEAs. In this study, the cluster-plus-glue-atoms model, law of Al-TMs (TMs, transition metals) HEAs with BCC and FCC structures was revealed. structure, five elements in equi-atomic ratio, formula can be expressed a cluster [Al-M14]Al3, non ratio [Al-M14]Al, where M average atom TMs. But both ratios [Al-M12]Al. To confirm effectiveness Al-TMs, two were designed, [Al-Ti4V3Nb4Mo3]Mo [Al-Ti3V3Nb4Mo4]Al. Results show that [Al-Ti3V3Nb4Mo4]Al alloy has higher strength plastic deformation at room temperature. Besides, shows slower soften effect 800 °C, contributed its strength. By substituting Ta some Mo, [Al-Ti3V3Nb4Mo3Ta]Al temperature high drastically decreases, suggesting element deteriorates properties alloys.

Hidden electronic rule in the “cluster-plus-glue-atom” model
Electrons and their interactions are intrinsic factors to affect the structure and properties of materials. Based on the "cluster-cluster-plus-glue-atom" model, an electron counting rule for complex metallic alloys (CMAs) has been revealed in this work (i. e. the CPGAMEC rule). Our results on the cluster structure and electron concentration of CMAs with apparent cluster features, indicate that ...
متن کاملMulticomponent and High Entropy Alloys
This paper describes some underlying principles of multicomponent and high entropy alloys, and gives some examples of these materials. Different types of multicomponent alloy and different methods of accessing multicomponent phase space are discussed. The alloys were manufactured by conventional and high speed solidification techniques, and their macroscopic, microscopic and nanoscale structure...
متن کاملExperiments and Model for Serration Statistics in Low-Entropy, Medium-Entropy, and High-Entropy Alloys
High-entropy alloys (HEAs) are new alloys that contain five or more elements in roughly-equal proportion. We present new experiments and theory on the deformation behavior of HEAs under slow stretching (straining), and observe differences, compared to conventional alloys with fewer elements. For a specific range of temperatures and strain-rates, HEAs deform in a jerky way, with sudden slips tha...
متن کاملA model for specification, composition and verification of access control policies and its application to web services
Despite significant advances in the access control domain, requirements of new computational environments like web services still raise new challenges. Lack of appropriate method for specification of access control policies (ACPs), composition, verification and analysis of them have all made the access control in the composition of web services a complicated problem. In this paper, a new indepe...
متن کاملInterstitial atoms enable joint twinning and transformation induced plasticity in strong and ductile high-entropy alloys
High-entropy alloys (HEAs) consisting of multiple principle elements provide an avenue for realizing exceptional mechanical, physical and chemical properties. We report a novel strategy for designing a new class of HEAs incorporating the additional interstitial element carbon. This results in joint activation of twinning- and transformation-induced plasticity (TWIP and TRIP) by tuning the matri...
